Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; clear phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and make them feel cared for.
• Ensure patients are in the correct area and wait times stay short.
• Register patients promptly so clinical schedules are not delayed.
• Collect updated demographics and accurately codes patient info.
• Explain insurance processing, deductibles, co-pays and benefits.
• Obtain necessary signatures and Medicare documents when required.
• Discuss MyChart advantages and collect patient email addresses.
