Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative to warmly greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and answer appointment-related calls in a fast-paced medical office in New York. The role requires attention to detail in chart review, insurance verification, and payment collection, with cross-training across reception functions.

Travel to other clinics may be required. A High School Diploma and strong communication skills, plus familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Professional and courteous patient interaction.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to handle calls and scheduling.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and professionally.
• Manage patient check-in/check-out processes.
• Answer and direct calls regarding appointments and inquiries.
• Review charts for accuracy before appointments.
• Perform scanning and sorting in EMR.
• Verify insurance information and collect payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
