Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting demographics and insurance information, handling co-pays, answering calls, routing messages to staff, and ensuring HIPAA compliance in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Checks in patients and notifies clinical staff of arrival.
• Provides and explains patient paperwork to be completed.
• Collects and files patient forms; updates demographics and insurance info.
• Collects co-pays and balances; provides receipts.
• Answers and routes routine questions; takes messages.
• Schedules returning appointments and provides details to patients.
