Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, handling multi-line phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with check-in/out processes. This role supports the front desk operations and ensures a smooth patient experience across our practice.

In addition to strong customer service, you will schedule appointments, collect insurance information, and assist with billing-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to deliver high patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phones.
• Greet patients and vendors.
• Check patients in/out, obtain insurance data.
• Schedule appointments by phone and at checkout desks.
• Collect outstanding balances and copays.
• Provide patients with support and guidance.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment per standards.
