Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients in our New England clinics. You will greet visitors, register patients, collect payments, and manage reservations, coordinating with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

You’ll work with a supportive team across locations, handle insurance inquiries, and maintain HIPAA compliance while using EMR and other scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proactive and confident communicator.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and courteous.
• Technically savvy with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Effective communicator and cross-collaborator.
• Excellent team player and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, register new and existing patients, and update records.
• Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and process charges according to clinic policies.
• Coordinate patient flow, reservations, and scheduling with the care team.
• Answer phones professionally and direct inquiries as needed.
• Navigate multiple software systems per established protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and waiting area.
• Assist with insurance inquiries and patient education about services.
