Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist dedicated to delivering outstanding patient service. You’ll serve as the first contact for patients, ensuring a warm welcome, accurate information entry, and efficient check-in processes.

You will handle scheduling, phone inquiries, and basic billing tasks while coordinating with clinical staff to support a smooth patient journey. Prior experience in a medical or customer service role is preferred, and MyChart

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or current high school student with work permit; relevant coursework is a plus.
• 1-2 years experience in medical office or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle patient inquiries calmly.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and compassionately.
• Check in patients, verify registrations and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones and route messages appropriately.
• Collect payments and support basic billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient experience.
