Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Indiana-based practice. The role involves answering multi-line phones, greeting patients and vendors, collecting insurance information, and data entry into our EHR systems.

You will also schedule appointments, manage copays and balances, and support physicians and staff to ensure smooth front-desk operations in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data.
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays; providing patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
