Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our PCPs in delivering compassionate primary care to our patient population. You will greet and room patients, perform routine diagnostic tasks, and assist in coordinating care within our care team.

The role emphasizes patient experience, accurate vital signs, documentation, and collaboration with physicians, specialists, and other clinical staff. Prior MA experience and EMR use are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience 6+ months is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to PCP or other clinical staff.
• Respond to patient calls and messages; route to appropriate team members and relay information to physicians.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures; perform first aid procedures under supervision as needed.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching to patients, with follow-up calls to track progress.
