Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team. You will greet and room members, assess health conditions, and assist with routine diagnostic tests during appointments.

You will collaborate with the PCP and care team to ensure efficient, patient-centered care while maintaining strict safety and documentation standards. This role may require coverage at multiple centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients, measure vital signs, and collect medical history.
• Perform routine examinations and screenings with attention to patient questions.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP, specialists, and clinical staff.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, and assist with first aid under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and proper, ethical documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients weekly.
