Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team and PCPs in providing efficient, compassionate care for seniors. The MA will greet and room members, assist with health assessments, and may perform routine diagnostic tests during appointments.

The MA-Float may cover multiple centers as needed to maintain smooth operations. The role emphasizes patient experience, accurate documentation, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent healthcare vocational training.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR experience with EClinical Works or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients: measure vital signs, collect medical history, perform examinations and routine screenings.
• Communicate with PCP and team about patient needs and changes in condition.
• Process patient messages, return calls, and route information to physicians.
• Perform basic first aid tasks (dressings, SIPS, dressing changes) under physician supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate, ethical documentation.
• Provide health coaching to patients and follow up via weekly calls.
