Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team and PCPs in a patient-focused environment. You will greet and room patients, perform routine diagnostics, and assist during appointments to ensure efficient care delivery.

The MA will collaborate with care teams, perform basic clinical tasks, handle patient communications, and provide health coaching as part of ongoing patient engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare training.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with EClinical Works or similar EMR.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members; conduct intake and record vital signs.
• Assist PCP during appointments and coordinate patient care with the broader team.
• Handle patient calls and messages; relay information to physicians and staff.
• Perform routine procedures such as dressings, suture removal and basic first aid under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and accurate documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients weekly.
