Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the PCP team, greet and room members, and assist in health assessment during appointments. The MA will perform routine diagnostic testing and coordinate care with the broader clinical team.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, intake interviews, documenting medical history, and ensuring a patient‑centered experience. Requires BLS, MA program completion, 1 year MA experience, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Take patient intake, record vital signs, medical history, and perform routine screenings.
• Communicate with PCP, specialists, and team about patient needs and changes in condition.
• Answer calls, route messages, and relay information to physicians.
• Perform dressings, sutures, and basic first aid under supervision when needed.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients weekly.
