Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• ACLS may be required based on specialty.
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire preferred.
• Experience in clinical or customer service setting desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient flow of patients to optimize appointment availability.
• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms per policy.
• Prepare patients for examination; measure vital signs.
• Assist clinicians with routine procedures and tests; prep for exams.
• Update EMR with test results and demographic information.
• Reconcile medications and manage pending refills.

Education

Medical Assistant Certification

Associate degree in medical assisting

ACLS (may be required)
