Job summary

Capitol Imaging Services, LLC is seeking a Patient Coordinator for Saturdays to support scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow at our imaging facility. The role emphasizes empathy, organization, and attention to detail as patients move from appointment to visit.

You will coordinate imaging appointments, verify coverage, backfill open slots, and maintain accurate EMR records while collaborating with radiologists, technologists, and staff to create a smooth, caring patient

Qualifications

• Healthcare knowledge and HIPAA familiarity.
• Experience in radiology or imaging services preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule imaging appointments, ensuring efficient use of facility resources.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments; communicate coverage details to patients.
• Monitor the schedule daily and backfill open slots to maintain efficiency.
• Answer calls and provide clear, empathetic guidance to patients.
