Job summary

Luminos Hospice is seeking a Hospice Scheduler to organize and manage daily schedules for clinical staff, coordinate on-call coverage, and maintain accurate scheduling records. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills within a compassionate hospice setting.

Responsibilities include liaison with patients and families, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably hospice or home health care.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; LVN/LPN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly schedules for hospice staff, including nurses, social workers, and volunteers.
• Coordinate shifts and on-call assignments to ensure coverage based on patient needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries and updates.
• Communicate scheduling details with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate records in the scheduling database and ensure regulatory compliance.
