Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients with daily living and personal care in their homes according to an established care plan.

You will help with baths, grooming, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and record observations for the nurse supervisor while following safety practices and the care plan. This part-time role offers flexible hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with daily living and personal care per plan of care.
• Baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.
• Record temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered.
• Safe transfer and ambulation techniques; assist with exercises as ordered.
• Perform ROM and extensional therapy as ordered; assist with patient laundry.
• Meet safety needs and use equipment properly; observe and teach home safety practices.
