Job summary

Access Personal Care Services in Richlands, NC is seeking a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to help clients live safely at home. You will assist with daily activities, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments in a compassionate, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, or access to a dependable vehicle.
• CPR certification preferred or able to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months of home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, hair, denture care, nail care, skin care, transfers, ambulation).
• Provide meals as required and assist with feeding when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and proper use of equipment.
• Accompany client to medical appointments or run errands as needed.
• Measure and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support live-in and sleep-over stays where applicable.
