UnitedHealth Group's Access Personal Care Services in Durham, NC is hiring a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to support individuals at home, assisting with daily living activities and household tasks. You will help with bathing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping and transportation to appointments, while ensuring safety and comfort in the client’s home.

Preferred candidates have CPR certification, 6+ months of home care experience, and flexible hours; a valid

Competenze

Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle or reliable public transportation.
CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
6+ months of home care experience.
Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet clients’ needs.

Mansioni

Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, denture care, nail care, skin care).
Transform and transfer clients between bed, chair, and wheelchair.
Assist with meals, medications reminders, and personal care tasks.
Perform light housekeeping and accompany clients to appointments or errands.
Monitor temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
