Job summary

Access Personal Care Services in Morehead City, NC is seeking a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate in-home support, personal hygiene assistance, and essential daily tasks for clients in their own homes. Responsibilities include ADL support, light household tasks, meal prep, and transportation assistance.

A valid driver’s license (or access to transportation), CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and 6+ months of home care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Preferred Qualifications: CPR certification, 6+ months of home care experience, ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, transfers, ambulation, dressing and medication reminders
• Assists with household tasks essential to personal care and accompanies clients to medical appointments or errands
• Measures vitals when ordered and helps prepare meals according to client diet requirements
• Ensures a clean, safe home environment and safe use of equipment as needed
