Everstory Partners in Madison, WI is seeking a Sales Counselor to help families navigate funeral and cemetery decisions with empathy and care. You will sell pre-need and at-need services and build a pipeline through leads, referrals, and community outreach.

The role emphasizes consultative sales, relationship-building, and utilization of HubSpot CRM to manage contacts and opportunities. Compensation includes uncapped commissions and a guaranteed minimum if applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sales/relationship-based experience preferred.
• CRM experience (HubSpot/Salesforce/Dynamics) preferred.
• Must be comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products/services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through inbound/outbound activities and community outreach.
• Respond to inquiries and follow up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales opportunities.
