Job summary

Everstory Partners in Kohler, WI is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery product choices with compassion and clarity. You will build a pipeline, handle inquiries, and close sales for pre-need and at-need services while managing activities in HubSpot CRM.

This role offers commission-based earnings with an uncapped upside, paid training, and opportunities to engage with the local community through outreach and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese or Arabic).
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• CRM experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong sales communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must obtain and maintain state licenses within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, and follow-up activity.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and offsite appointments.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
