Job summary

Everstory Partners in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Sales Counselor who helps families make important funeral and cemetery decisions with care. You will meet with individuals, explain products and pricing, and guide purchasing decisions with compassion.

The role emphasizes consultative B2C sales, lead generation, and community outreach, building a sales pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, and events. You will manage leads in HubSpot CRM and earn commissions based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish/Chinese/Tagalog/Vietnamese/Arabic).
• One year of sales experience or related relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and memorialization products.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; conduct follow-ups throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
