Job summary

Everstory Partners in Springfield, MO is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery product decisions. You will meet with individuals, assess needs, and present pre-need and at-need services, merchandise, and pricing with compassion.

This role focuses on consultative, B2C sales, and community outreach, building a robust pipeline via inbound leads, referrals, and events while tracking activity in HubSpot CRM. A high school diploma and sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, especially in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of sales or related relationship-building experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven environment and developing new business.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-in opportunities; follow up through the sales process.
