Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Birmingham, AL to help families make informed funeral and cemetery decisions. You will manage leads, advise on pre-need and at-need services, and build a strong local pipeline through referrals, outreach, and inbound inquiries.

You will earn commission based on performance, with a paid six-week training period. HubSpot CRM is used to track activities, follow-ups, and opportunities in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Arabic).
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, MS Dynamics) preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorial products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, prospecting, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-in opportunities; conduct follow-ups throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and the local community; guide purchasing decisions.
