Job summary

Advocate Health's Dilworth Family Medicine clinic in Charlotte is seeking a part-time front desk professional to manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and cash handling. The role emphasizes compassionate patient interactions and on-site support during clinic hours.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, computer literacy, and prior front desk or medical records software experience, with EPIC experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer relations experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred.
• Front desk practice experience preferred.

• Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations
• Demonstrates critical thinking and decisive judgment in a busy environment and works with minimal supervision
• Manages patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing-related activities per standards
• Encourages patient utilization of front-end technology during registration
• Maintains accurate patient information including insurance and billing throughout encounters
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency codes and healthcare regulations
• Monitors inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency equipment
