Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide to join the 34102 AMC Sheboygan County Nursing Float Pool. You will assist RNs with daily patient care, perform routine measurements, document in the EMR, and support transfers and mobility to ensure patient safety and comfort.

The position is part-time (24 hours/week) with 2-12 hour shifts or 3-8 hour shifts, every 3rd weekend, and limited holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus BLS within 45 days and Wisconsin Nurse Aide registration in

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including hygiene, meals, mobility, and activity orders.
• Record vital signs and intake/output data; document in EMR.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Ensure patient call lights are reachable and respond promptly.
• Transport and position patients safely using proper techniques.
• Maintain nursing area supply stock and clean equipment.
