Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a CNA to assist with daily patient care under RN supervision. You will help with bathing, feeding, positioning, and ambulation, while documenting vitals and I&O in the EMR.

The role includes assisting with admissions, transfers and discharges, stocking supplies, and maintaining a safe, clean patient environment. The position requires a High School diploma or GED/HSED, Nurse Aide licensure in good standing, and BLS within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and transfers as needed.
• Measure and document vitals, I&O, daily weights, and other data in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN promptly.
• Support admissions/transfers/discharges: room setup, orientation, belongings handling, call lights.
• Collect specimens and conduct point-of-care testing as directed; maintain competency.
• Restock nursing area, transport supplies, and clean equipment and work areas.
