Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Med Surg: IU Garden unit in Sheboygan County. 24 hours per week, with a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour. BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 45 days and Nurse Aide in good standing per state registry.

GED/HSED or high school diploma required. The role involves assisting the RN with care, documentation in EMR, patient positioning, transfers, and basic patient data collection, while supporting admissions,

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Document vitals, intake/output, daily weights in EMR.
• Support admission/discharge processes and room setup under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Maintain nursing supplies, equipment and patient flow in unit.
