Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality routine nursing care to residents in accordance with state and company standards.

Responsibilities include ADL support, care plans, documentation in the EMR, and assisting with treatments. Must read, write and understand English; weekends, evenings, and holidays are required. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Experience: None required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident and patient care in accordance with nursing procedures and instruction by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain the Plan of Care for each resident or patient.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including personal hygiene, nourishment, safety and comfort.
• Assist with care of dying residents and post-mortem care.
• Observe for pressure areas and skin breakdown, report findings.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required.
• Provide rehabilitative/restorative procedures as required.
• Create a warm, caring atmosphere and calm environment on the unit.
• Answer resident calls promptly.
• Maintain rooms and equipment in clean, sanitary, and safe condition.
