Job summary

You will perform ADLs, monitor patient conditions, document in EMR, and collaborate with Charge Nurse during care plans. High school diploma and Ohio CNA registry in good standing required; on-the-job training provided; weekend/evening

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry is required.
• None of the listed experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, with English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily resident and patient care in accordance with nursing procedures and as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintains the Plan of Care for residents or patients.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including personal hygiene, elimination, comfort, safety, ambulation, lifting, skin care, nutrition and hydration.
• Assists with care of dying residents and post-mortem care.
• Observes and reports pressure areas and skin breakdown.
• Assists with nursing treatments as required and with restorative procedures.
• Maintains a warm, caring atmosphere and calm environment on the unit.
• Answers resident calls promptly.
• Measures and records entries in EMR and reports changes in condition.
