Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide high‑quality daily nursing care in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines. Roles include care management, ADL support, and collaboration with the care team to maintain patient well‑being.

Responsibilities cover care delivery, documentation in EMR, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols, with weekend/evening shifts as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident and patient care in accordance with nursing procedures and as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain the Plan of Care for each resident or patient.
• Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, elimination, comfort and safety.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care.
• Observe and report skin breakdown or pressure areas.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required.
• Provide rehabilitative/restorative procedures as required.
• Create a warm, calm environment throughout the unit; respond promptly to calls.
• Maintain clean, safe rooms and equipment; follow infection control procedures.
• Attend care conferences and meetings; participate in training as scheduled.
