Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to deliver high-quality daily nursing care to residents in accordance with state and federal standards. You will follow the Plan of Care, assist with ADLs, monitor patient condition, and report changes to the Charge Nurse.

The role requires familiarity with nursing procedures, ability to work in a team, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Weekend and evening shifts may be required, with a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily resident/patient care following nursing procedures and guidance from the Charge Nurse.
• Maintains Plan of Care for residents.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living and daily living activities.
• Provides care for the dying resident and post-mortem care as needed.
• Observes and reports skin integrity issues and pressure areas.
• Performs routine nursing treatments and rehabilitative procedures as required.
• Maintains warm, calm unit atmosphere and responds to calls promptly.
