Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality daily nursing care to residents in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, maintaining the care plan, documenting in the EMR, and observing resident conditions. The role requires a HS diploma, CNA certification in good standing, and the ability to read, write, and understand English. Weekend/evening shifts are common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily resident and patient care in accordance with nursing procedures and as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintains the Plan of Care for the resident or patient.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living including personal hygiene, elimination, mobility, nutrition, and hydration.
• Assists with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care.
• Observes and reports signs of pressure areas and skin breakdown.
• Records entries in the EMR and reports changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
