Job summary

Ohio Living in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily resident care under the Charge Nurse. You will help maintain care plans, assist with ADLs, and support comfort and safety across the unit.

Responsibilities include documenting in EMR, attending care conferences when directed, and contributing to a warm, caring environment. English proficiency and a valid CNA on the Ohio registry are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident and patient care per nursing procedures and Charge Nurse instructions.
• Maintain the Plan of Care for each resident or patient.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including hygiene, ambulation and nutrition.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care as needed.
• Observe and report skin integrity issues and pressure areas.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required and restorative procedures.
• Create a warm, calm environment and respond promptly to calls.
• Enter and record observations in the EMR and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
