Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Bridgeport, West Virginia, is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality daily living support to residents in our community. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, and light housekeeping, while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved PCA program, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have successfully completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Help residents with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
