Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Martinsburg, West Virginia, is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living at 13857 Apple Harvest Drive, Martinsburg, WV 25403. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program.

You must be able to communicate effectively, work with all team members, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have successfully completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must follow instruction of supervisor and be a contributing member of the nursing team.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel (e.g., RN/LPN, ED).
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
