Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in the United States is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, provide emotional comfort, and help maintain a safe, dignified living environment. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, housekeeping, responding to calls, reporting concerns to the nursing team, and helping plan activity programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Assists residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Checks on residents and reports illness or status.
