Job summary

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, complete a certified personal care aide program, and be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be organized and work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident apartments and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Move residents safely to dining areas and activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and emotional support.
