Pomeroy Living Corporation in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a dynamic Admissions Coordinator to welcome new residents to our skilled nursing community. You will help families by conducting facility tours, answering questions about services, amenities and pricing, and coordinating the admissions process.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, with relevant healthcare sales/marketing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; preference for related associate degree.
• 3+ years experience in Health Care Sales/marketing or related field preferred.
• Experience in managed care/insurance preferred.
• Experience in customer service, sales, or marketing preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents and their families.
• Answer inquiries about the facility's services, amenities, and pricing.
• Schedule and conduct resident assessments.
• Coordinate the admissions process, including completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.
• Provide excellent customer service to all inquiries.
