Job summary

Regina Health Center in Richfield, OH is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to guide residents and families through transitions to assisted living, rehabilitation, or long-term skilled nursing care.

You will partner with hospital discharge planners, families, our marketing team, nursing leadership, and other departments to make admissions welcoming, efficient, and accurate, with a focus on compassion and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of related healthcare admissions experience and/or relevant education and training.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and managed care is a plus.
• Proficiency with computers and maintaining confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with families and welcome them; respond to inquiries and coordinate referrals.
• Own the admission process from inquiry to admission and follow-up.
• Verify coverage and admission criteria, pre-certifications where required.
• Coordinate room placements and communicate updates among departments.
• Maintain accurate resident records and ensure confidentiality.
