Job summary

OATS Transit is hiring drivers across Missouri to operate mini-vans, Ford Transits, and wide-body buses, delivering essential transportation to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and rural residents. The role involves assisting riders on and off the vehicle and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

As a driver you will use an in-vehicle tablet for trip details, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete required paperwork, and participate in regular training.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 23 years of age.
• Class E or CDL license with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random testing.
• Bondable.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the vehicle with respect and courtesy.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Utilize in-vehicle tablet for trip information and timing.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office.
• Attend routine paid training and comply with rules and regulations.
