Job summary

OATS Transit is hiring for drivers in Cameron, MO. This part-time driver role requires a CDL or Class E license, DOT physical, drug screening, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will operate mini-vans, Ford Transits, or a large bus, assist riders on/off, and ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness. A tablet is used for trip info and time validation.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years or older.
• Class E or CDL license required with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random testing.
• Must be bondable.
• Experience with in-vehicle tablets is a plus.
• Flexible to adjust schedules and routes.
• Neat, organized, able to work independently.
• Active job with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes using mini-vans, Ford Transits or a wide body bus.
• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices safely.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document findings.
• Use in-vehicle tablet to receive trip info and update times.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office.
• Attend routine paid training and follow rules.
