Job summary

OATS Transit in Clark, MO is hiring drivers to transport seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the rural public. Vehicles include mini-vans, Ford Transits, or wide-body buses.

Positions include day shifts with 23+ age requirement, CDL/Class E preferred, and ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests. Daily duties include assisting riders, safety checks, and using the vehicle tablet.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Class E or CDL license with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random testing.
• Must be bondable.
• Employee will use a vehicle tablet in the bus.
• Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices and follow procedures.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in excellent condition and clean.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet to receive trip information and validate times.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office.
• Attend routine paid training.
• Comply with federal/state/company rules and regulations.
