Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions at a housing community. You will handle rent collection, delinquency management, leasing, maintenance coordination, and compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

As onsite leader, you will supervise staff, ensure budget adherence, post charges, and prepare end-of-month reporting while fostering resident satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices and assist with evictions as needed.
• Support budgeting, revenue targets, and NOI achievement.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents while maintaining records.
