Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager's supervision.

You will handle rent delinquency, postings, and cash flow optimization, supervise onsite staff, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines while maintaining strong resident relations.

This is a safety-sensitive role with opportunities for growth within Asset Living's national portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage residents and staff.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and operating metrics.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the housing community under the Community Manager.
• Manage rent postings, payments, and delinquency procedures to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff, training, and performance; ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Coordinate leasing activities, maintenance, and administrative tasks to support community goals.
• Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs and reporting.
