Job summary

BH Management is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to assist in all operational duties of a multifamily community. You will help with reporting, rent processing, and supervising staff in the Community Manager’s absence, representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities include posting rent and deposits, handling renewals, inspecting property conditions daily, and responding to resident communications.

Qualifications

• Previous Assistant Property Manager experience.
• State leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily and month-end reporting, including resident ledgers.
• Post rent, manage delinquency, eviction process, and prepare POs and deposits.
• Post notices, secure lease renewals, and prepare lease paperwork.
• Walk the community daily, inspect property conditions, and address issues.
• Respond to emails, voicemails, texts, and other communications.
• Assist in hiring and training of new team members as needed.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and stay informed about local competitors.
• Support leasing duties including tours and lease preparation.
• Handle account postings and post move-out inspections and final statements.
