Job summary

Waypoint Management Services in Davenport, FL is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to keep daily operations moving and protect revenue. You’ll work with the community manager, handle delinquency tracking, support eviction processes, ensure on-time rent collection, and monitor make-ready schedules.

On the leasing side, you’ll support the leasing team's performance and training, help execute marketing strategies, and stay current on competitors' pricing and concessions.

Qualifications

• Two years in leasing, sales, or hospitality with transferable skills.
• Solid financial literacy: reading reports, tracking variances, explaining findings.
• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail in recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist community manager with daily operations and own a slice of workload independently.
• Track delinquency and support eviction processes as needed; ensure rent collection stays on track.
• Monitor make-ready schedules and keep rent roll accurate; flag renewal risk early to act on it.
• Support leasing team performance and training; help execute marketing strategies and stay current on pricing/concessions.
• Bring data and recommendations when occupancy trends shift, not just problems.
• Weekend availability is required in this community-facing role.
