Job summary

Berger Communities is seeking a Community Manager for The Shoreline Apartments in Cleveland, OH. You will lead daily operations, motivate an onsite team, and drive leasing and resident satisfaction to create a premier community.

In this role you will own budgeting, financial performance, and capital planning while ensuring high standards of service and compliance. This position offers growth and impactful leadership within our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Property management or multifamily housing experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent leasing, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience budgeting and managing financial performance.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial performance of the community.
• Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team.
• Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning.
• Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect to renewal.
• Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed.
• Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards.
• Stay informed on the Cleveland multifamily market and competitive properties.
• Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement.
• Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs.

Location: Cleveland, OH.

Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday hours from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM as needed.
