Job summary

Berger Communities is hiring a Community Manager for Apartments at River View in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead the leasing team, drive occupancy, and ensure an exceptional resident experience.

Based in Downtown Pittsburgh, the role oversees on-site operations, hiring and developing staff, and coordinating with service managers to maintain curb appeal and standards. A strong creditable background in multifamily management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or High School / GED plus CAM/ARM certifications.
• Two years property management experience required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial performance of the community.
• Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team.
• Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning.
• Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect to renewal.
• Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed.
• Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards.
• Stay informed on the Cleveland multifamily market and competitive properties.
• Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement.
• Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs.

Community Manager Berger Communities is hiring a Community Manager to join our team at Apartments at River View in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. Pay & Benefits

$75,000-$80,000/annually, paid biweekly, plus:

Location: Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. (Company paid parking)

Type: Full Time, Salary/Exempt

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Experience: Associates or bachelor’s degree or High School / GED plus equivalent experience of Industry Certifications (CAM, ARM). Two years property management experience required.
