Job summary

Valiant Residential in Dallas is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day property operations and ensure a well-maintained, compliant apartment community. You will implement company policies and coordinate leasing, budgeting, marketing, and staff supervision.

You will lead leasing teams, manage rent collection and reports, enforce Fair Housing practices, and partner with vendors to maintain safety and performance. A strong English communicator with PM experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification required before interacting with prospects or residents.
• Proficient PC skills and MS Office; knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train staff according to company policies.
• Maintain records: rent rolls, delinquencies, move-ins/move-outs, and invoices.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecast income.
• Ensure leases are prepared and signed; collect rents and manage delinquencies.
• Pursue lease renewals and oversee leasing staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws; safety and risk management.
• Oversee emergency procedures and maintenance responsiveness.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
